Pennsauken Public Schools

The Pennsauken Public Schools are a comprehensive community public school district serving students in pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade from Pennsauken Township, in Camden County, New Jersey, United States.
The Pennsauken Public Schools serve public school students in pre-Kindergarten through twelfth grade. As of the 2011-12 school year, the district's 11 schools had an enrollment of 5,402 students and 401.6 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 13.45:1.〔(District information for Pennsauken Township School District ), National Center for Education Statistics. The district is classified by the New Jersey Department of Education as being in District Factor Group "CD", the sixth-highest of eight groupings. District Factor Groups organize districts statewide to allow comparison by common socioeconomic characteristics of the local districts. Students from Merchantville attend the district's high school as part of a sending/receiving relationship with the Merchantville School District that has existed since 1972.〔Florio, Gwen.
